BEEF AND HERB DENTAL CHEW

I'll be honest, I don't tend to feed Enid a lot of dental chews.  I normally pack her diet with the odd bone, some chewy skin to keep her occupied and the occasional ear to scrape her teeth.  So it's fair to say that I am not up to speed with dental chews that can be found in supermarkets.

I've seen the posts on Facebook of someone eating a popular dental chews to demonstrate how much they don't clean teeth.  I don't know.  I wasn't completely convinced.  After all maybe you can't compare a human mouth with a dog's mouth?

What I do know however is ingredients. Take a look at what are in those chews and yep, it's mainly cereals or potatoes.  When I say mainly, anywhere from 82% or even 96% cereals or potato! I saw one advertised as Kale and Apple had 0.4% fruit and vegetables in it.

These pointy, triangular chews however are made from dried, compressed beef mixed with herbs. They are fairly large, so I would recommend for medium to large dogs.  As always keep an eye on your pup, the buggers could try to swallow it in large chunks.
